Not sure how I became a source for recommendations - but I love when people ask me for my favorite spots! 🪄🤍

Thought I’d make this to store my suggestions so that they can be easily shared. And what better way than starting with Drinks & Dinner in the City of Gold🥂💛

Mix Bar is my go-to for divine drinks & Vusi Mbatha’s fabulous food🥰 It’s my favorite discovery in Johannesburg & always has a great vibe with the friendliest staff 🤍 They also have the best wine & whisky tasting in the city!

Sin+Tax has an ever changing menu with creative cocktails 🍹 🦩and super fun swings outside!

Edge of Glory is fancy as f*ck (they have lots of cool neon signs) & a baby bottle of bubbly served with golden straws 🥂 The food is incredible & well priced 🤩

Alto 234 Bar for something sophisticated 🪄 The tallest bar in Africa has a R300 experience fee & a Moët et Chandon vending machine 🍾 Perfect spot for sunset drinks & seeing all the city lights 🌆🌅 Aurum Restaurant in the The Leonardo is perfect for dinner ✨💛

Raddisson Red Rosebank Rooftop Bar is another spot with epic views 😻 They have great specials like Friday 4-6pm Bottomless Bubbly & Sunday 12-4pm Tapas Special 🥂🧆🥙🥗

Rising Tide - a fun tiki bar with fun food & tropical drinks 🌺🌴🍹🐠🍍

Copper Bar Bryanston serving sunsets, sushi & great specials 🌅🍣

Rooftop BBQ @Fergusons is a great spot for sundowners 😻🌆 & their food portions are proper!

Greenhouse Johannesburg - IYKYK 😏 There’s a different event everyday with great DJs 🌺 The place is pumping, so if you’d like to sit down & eat, be sure to book a table!

Mr Pants Wine is the smallest wine bar in South Africa 🍷 it’s mainly for wine now, but if you're hungry, order a pizza from Coalition around the corner!
